Rochell – Visit Really, Really Good

Clemson hosted one of the nation’s top defensive ends for Junior Day, Isaac Rochell.  The 6-5, 240 pound defensive end from Georgia was very impressed with what he saw from the Tigers.

“It was really, really good.  I liked the atmosphere.  I really liked the staff,  especially coach Venables,” said Rochell.

Coach Venables made a good first impression with the top defensive end.

“He is really nice.  He knows his stuff.  He is very energetic,” said Rochell.

The offer list continues to grow for the prize recruit.

“I have around 30.  I don’t know the number,” said  Rochell.

When asked about his current leaders, Rochell responded, “Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Florida State in no particular order”.

The decision timing in not clear, but it should be before the fall.

“I will probably make it before next season.  I don’t want to rush it.  But when I am ready I will talk with family and friends and make the decision,” said Rochell.

The visits will continue over the next few months.

“I am going to South Carolina.  Then I am going to Georgia Tech.  Then I will probably go to Florida State and Notre Dame,” said Rochell.

Is a return visit to Clemson in the plans?

“I am sure I will,” replied Rochell.
