Now or Never for Dye

Clemson senior Xavier Dye knows his time is now if he wants to become a playmaker for the Tigers.  Dye goes one-on-one with TheClemsonInsider.com just days before he begins his final season in Death Valley.

“It is now or never.  I have to make the most of these opportunities and I can’t let any slip away,” said Dye.

The senior receiver has learned the offense well and is trying to help the younger players along.

“I pretty much can go out and teach it if I want to.  That is one thing that I tried to do this summer was going to learn it more.  Even though Kyle wasn’t here  I was able to go teach the younger guys,” said Dye.

Last week Xavier missed the Byrnes game on ESPN, but he has seen “the hit” several times on You Tube.

“I have seen it a couple of times.  I kept hearing about it.  It was awesome.  An offensive guy hitting a defensive guy like that,” said Dye.

Watch Xavier discuss his final season, the young receiver core, the offense and much more!
